By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy (whether or not you are a registered user). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may modify or update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and may provide notice via the Service or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Washmix may update service offerings, operating procedures, pricing structures, discounts, eligibility rules, promotions, and program benefits at any time to the extent permitted by law. Promotions (including storage inclusions, percent discounts, welcome box offers, credit-back rates, and other perks) may be limited-time, may vary by service area, and may be modified or discontinued.
Unless otherwise required by law, completed Orders are billed based on the pricing, fees, and rules applicable to that Order at the time of processing and invoicing.
4.1 Account Required. Most services require an Account. You agree to provide accurate information, including at minimum a valid service address and valid phone number, and to keep your information current.
4.2 Account Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and restricting access to your devices. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities under your Account.
4.3 Notes, Instructions, and Pockets. You are responsible for: (i) providing clear instructions for special requests (e.g., pressing preferences, alterations notes); (ii) checking pockets and removing personal items; and (iii) communicating any pre-existing damage you want documented. Washmix is not liable for personal items left in garments or bags.
5.1 General Pricing. Washmix provides pricing for common items and services. Certain items (specialty fabrics, embellished garments, household items, unique items) may require custom pricing.
5.2 Upcharges and Additional Labor. It is industry-standard to apply additional charges when additional labor is required, including (non-exhaustive examples): significant stain treatment; embellishments, beads, sequins, pleats; leather trim or special materials; multiple layers/linings; hand finishing vs. machine finishing. Washmix does not apply upcharges based on brand name or item value—only based on labor and handling required.
5.3 Price Changes. Our current prices are listed at www.washmix.com/pricing. Washmix may change its prices and fees at any time, at its discretion, including to reflect inflation and rising operating costs. Changes take effect when posted. Items not listed online are priced individually — please ask us for a quote. Depending on the fabric, construction or care required, an individual item may carry an additional charge of $0.50 to $10.00 per item, in addition to the listed price. Price and fee changes apply only to Orders placed, and Wallet purchases or reloads made, after the change takes effect.
5.4 Taxes, Route Fees, Rush Fees, No-Show Fees, and Other Surcharges. Taxes and applicable fees may apply. Route/extended-distance fees, small-order delivery fees, rush surcharges, no-show fees, specialty handling charges, and multi-attempt delivery fees may apply as disclosed in these Terms. Each such fee is charged at the amount stated in these Terms in effect at the time of your Order.
Washmix may interrupt, suspend, modify, or discontinue any portion of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason. Washmix will not be liable for interruption, delay, or failure to perform due to causes beyond Washmix's reasonable control, including carrier delays, weather, traffic, supplier issues, facility outages, or force majeure events.
7.1 PAYG (Pay As You Go). PAYG customers are billed per Order upon service completion. PAYG does not include EasyPay discounts or EasyPay benefits unless explicitly stated.
7.2 Washmix EasyPay™ Wallet (Gold / Platinum). Washmix EasyPay™ is a prepaid Wallet program where you purchase prepaid credit and may receive tier benefits as shown in the Service at the time of purchase. EasyPay is not a subscription fee; it is prepaid Wallet credit.
7.2.1 EasyPay Tiers and Pricing Reference. As of the effective date of these Terms, the following EasyPay tiers and pricing are offered. Actual pricing is governed by what is displayed in the Service at the time of purchase. These amounts are provided as a reference and may change at any time.
| Tier | Wallet Amount | Service Discount |
|---|---|---|
| PAYG (Pay As You Go) | No wallet — pay per order | Standard pricing (no discount) |
| Gold EasyPay™ | $199 prepaid | 10% off all eligible services |
| Platinum EasyPay™ | $299 prepaid | 20% off all eligible on-demand services + 10% quarterly credit-back |
7.2.2 Platinum EasyPay™ Benefits. Platinum EasyPay™ members receive the following benefits, subject to change as described in Section 7.4:
- 20% off all eligible on-demand services (dry cleaning, laundry, alterations, etc.). Discount does not apply to Wash & Fold Subscription monthly charges.
- 10% credit back on eligible services (excludes supplemental bags, no-show fees, and package purchases), issued quarterly as Wallet credit
- Lowest pickup minimums ($49 minimum order for free pickup & delivery)
- Free Welcome Box with branded laundry and garment bags
- Free seasonal garment storage: Platinum members receive one (1) storage bundle (up to 25 garments) stored free for one (1) season (storage fee waived), regardless of the number of garments in that bundle. Mandatory cleaning & pressing is charged separately, per garment. Additional bundles and season extensions are charged at the applicable rates. Eligibility requires continued active enrollment in Platinum tier.
- Wallet credits never expire while the account remains active
- 10% credit back on Wash & Fold Subscription charges (Platinum-only; issued as Wallet credit)
7.2.3 Gold EasyPay™ Benefits. Gold EasyPay™ members receive the following benefits, subject to change as described in Section 7.4:
- 10% off all eligible on-demand services (dry cleaning, laundry, alterations, etc.). Discount does not apply to Wash & Fold Subscription monthly charges.
- Reduced pickup minimum ($59 minimum order for free pickup & delivery)
- Wallet credits never expire while the account remains active
- Gold does not include credit-back. Credit-back is a Platinum-only benefit.
7.3 Legacy Terminology. Across older pages, emails, or materials, EasyPay may appear as "Washmix Advantage," "Advantage Program," "VIP," "prepaid packages," or "Easy Pay." These refer to the same core prepaid Wallet concept unless explicitly stated otherwise.
7.4 Tier Benefits and Changeability. Tier discounts and benefits are defined by what is shown in the Service. Washmix may change tier benefits, included perks, and discount percentages for future purchases/reloads. Unless otherwise required by law, the benefits/discounts in effect at the time you purchase or reload your Wallet apply to that purchased Wallet balance until used, except where a benefit is explicitly promotional or requires continued eligibility (e.g., staying enrolled in a qualifying tier).
7.5 Reaffirmation Upon Purchase/Reload (Very Important). Each time you purchase or reload Washmix EasyPay™ (Gold or Platinum), you acknowledge and agree that: (a) you have reviewed your Account history (orders, invoices, balances); (b) you accept prior charges, credits, discounts, and usage as accurate and final, subject to the dispute timelines in Section 12; and (c) you agree to the then-current version of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you have concerns about prior billing or credit usage, do not reload; contact cs@washmix.com first.
8.1 Wallet Credit Is Not Cash. Wallet credit has no cash value, is not redeemable for cash, check, or refund except where expressly stated or required by law, and may be used only for eligible Washmix services.
8.2 Promotional/Courtesy Credits. Promotional, courtesy, and bonus credits are store credits, may have additional restrictions, and may be changed, paused, or discontinued by Washmix at any time. Only one coupon, promotion, or bonus can be applied to a purchase. Offers cannot be combined. Bonus credits added with a purchase are placed in your Wallet, can be used like any other Wallet credit, and earn credit back when spent. Bonus credits are never refunded.
8.3 Credit-Back (If Offered). If your tier includes credit-back, it is issued as Washmix credit (not cash), may only be used toward future Washmix services, and is subject to eligibility and timing rules disclosed in the Service (including any quarterly calculation rules). Washmix may modify, pause, or terminate credit-back at any time, to the extent permitted by law.
9.1 Auto-Reload (Optional Feature). If Auto-Reload is enabled in your dashboard, Washmix may automatically replenish your Wallet when your balance falls below a system threshold displayed in your dashboard, by charging the payment method on file for the then-applicable reload amount.
9.2 Auto-Reload Triggered. When Auto-Reload is enabled and your Wallet balance is insufficient to cover an order, Washmix will charge your payment method on file for the reload amount associated with your tier ($199 for Gold, $299 for Platinum). If a single reload is still insufficient to cover the order, multiple reloads may be triggered and charged as a single transaction until the balance covers the full order amount. The order is then deducted from the updated Wallet balance.
9.3 Auto-Reload Disabled. If Auto-Reload is disabled and your balance becomes insufficient, your existing Wallet balance is applied first and the remainder is charged to your card. Your Account may then revert to PAYG until you manually reload your Wallet.
9.4 Your Responsibility. You are responsible for monitoring Wallet balances and Auto-Reload settings.
10.1 Separate Product. The Wash & Fold Subscription is a separate recurring product billed separately from the EasyPay Wallet unless expressly stated otherwise in the Service.
10.1.1 On-Demand vs. Subscription. Wash & Fold is available through two usage models:
- On-Demand: Priced per bag, per order. You place orders whenever you need and schedule pickups on-demand or via auto-recurring pickup. No monthly commitment or bag allowance.
- Subscription: Flat monthly pricing with a set bag allowance per billing cycle. Lower per-bag pricing as more bags are added. Billed monthly. Includes up to 1 bag rollover per billing cycle. Pickups are scheduled the same way as on-demand.
In both models, pickup timing is always controlled by you. Auto-recurring pickup is optional and available for all users. The Subscription determines pricing and bag allowance only — it does not schedule, create, or modify any pickup schedule.
10.2 Included Usage; Supplemental Bags. Subscriptions include a defined number of Wash & Fold "bag credits" (or equivalent usage units) per billing cycle as shown in your dashboard. If you exceed included usage, supplemental bags/usage will be billed according to the then-current rate shown in the Service. As of the effective date of these Terms, supplemental bags are priced at $59 per bag. This rate applies universally across all tiers (PAYG, Gold, Platinum, and Subscription) with no discounts, no credit back, and no exceptions. Supplemental bag pricing is subject to change; the rate displayed in the Service at the time of processing governs.
10.3 Billing Cycles; Plan Changes; Pause/Cancellation. You may upgrade/downgrade, pause, or cancel through your dashboard or by contacting support, subject to timing rules displayed in the Service. Unless stated otherwise, changes typically take effect on the next billing cycle. Charges already incurred are not retroactively reversed except where required by law or expressly stated.
10.3.1 Mid-Cycle Subscription Changes. If you change your Subscription plan (upgrade, downgrade, pause, or cancel) mid-cycle:
- Your current plan continues for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
- The new plan takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
- Up to 1 rollover bag (if applicable) is preserved when your new plan takes effect.
- No partial refunds or prorated credits are issued for the current cycle unless required by law.
- If you cancel, your included bag allowance remains available through the end of the current billing cycle.
10.4 Rollover Policy. Each Wash & Fold subscription includes a fixed number of laundry bags per billing cycle. If a customer does not use all included bags within a billing cycle, up to one (1) unused bag may roll over to the immediately following billing cycle only.
Rollover limitations:
- Rollover bags do not accumulate across multiple billing cycles
- Rollover may not exceed one (1) additional bag in any billing cycle
- Any unused rollover bag expires at the end of the following billing cycle
Unused bags beyond the one (1) permitted rollover are forfeited at the end of the billing cycle.
Illustrative example: A subscription that includes four (4) bags per month with one unused bag will allow up to five (5) bags in the subsequent billing cycle. If fewer than five (5) bags are used during that cycle, the subscription resets to four (4) bags in the next billing period.
Washmix reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue rollover benefits at any time in accordance with these Terms.
10.5 Relationship to EasyPay and Recurring Pickup. Subscription billing is separate from Wallet usage. Recurring pickups may continue even after subscription credits are used; additional wash & fold usage may be billed as supplemental bags or as pay-per-order, depending on your account configuration.
10.5.1 Subscription Does Not Control Pickups. The Wash & Fold Subscription determines pricing and monthly bag allowance only. It does not schedule, create, modify, or cancel any pickup. Pickup scheduling is always controlled by the customer through on-demand requests or optional auto-recurring pickup settings, regardless of whether the customer is on a Subscription or On-Demand plan. A Subscription does not obligate Washmix to perform any pickup unless a pickup is separately scheduled by the customer.
10.6 Enrollment Fee. A one-time enrollment fee of $24 is charged when starting a Wash & Fold Subscription. This fee covers setup and activation. If a Subscription is canceled and later restarted, the enrollment fee applies again. Platinum EasyPay™ members (including Super Pack members) receive a waived enrollment fee ($0).
10.7 Super Pack (Platinum + Subscription). The "Super Pack" refers to an account with both an active Platinum EasyPay™ Wallet and an active Wash & Fold Subscription. Super Pack benefits include:
- $0 enrollment fee for Wash & Fold Subscription
- 10% credit back on Subscription charges (issued as Wallet credit)
- Platinum pricing on all other eligible on-demand services
Subscription charges are billed separately from Wallet usage. Your Wallet credits are applied automatically to non-Subscription services at Platinum rates.
10.8 Wash & Fold Pricing Reference. Wash & Fold pricing varies by payment method (PAYG, Wallet, Subscription) as displayed in the Service. Supplemental usage beyond a Subscription allowance is billed at the then-current rate displayed at the time of processing. All pricing is subject to change; the rate shown in the Service at the time of order governs billing.

Wash & Fold — Subscription Pricing Reference (Dynamic)
Subscription pricing is expressed as a weekly equivalent for comparison purposes. Actual billing is monthly. The "per week" rate is a marketing reference only and does not represent the billing frequency or amount. You are charged the monthly amount shown below once per billing cycle.

11.1 Sorting and Method Selection. Washmix may sort items and determine the appropriate cleaning method based on care labels, fabric type, construction, and professional judgment.
11.2 Laundry Shirts vs. Dry Cleaning Shirts. Certain shirts may be processed as dry cleaning when machine pressing is not appropriate due to fabric, details, or construction. Items requiring hand finishing may be billed accordingly.
11.3 Wash & Fold Separation Rule (Important). Wash & Fold items should be separated from PRO-CLEAN with PRESS items as instructed in the Service. Washmix is not responsible for damage to delicate garments (e.g., wool, silk) placed into Wash & Fold loads contrary to instructions.
11.4 Stain Treatment Limits. Stain removal is not guaranteed. Washmix may stop treatment when further attempts could damage the garment. Cleaning charges still apply.
12.1 Delivery Review Window. You must inspect your Order immediately upon delivery. Any issues with items (missing, damaged, incorrect items) or billing concerns visible at delivery must be reported to cs@washmix.com within the timeframe stated in Section 13.6 and, in any event, no later than 48 hours of delivery confirmation unless a shorter window is stated for delivery confirmation disputes.
12.2 Billing/Credit Discrepancy Window (30 Days). Concerns related to service charges, discounts, Wallet credit application, subscription billing, package rates, or invoice totals must be reported within 30 calendar days of the service date. After this window, transactions are considered final and non-disputable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12.3 Dashboard Review. You can view order history, invoices, and account activity in your dashboard. You are responsible for verifying accuracy and reporting issues within the windows above.
13.1 Scheduling a Pickup. To request a pickup, place your items in the designated Washmix laundry bag (or another suitable bag if permitted in the Service) and leave it at your door or specified location. Pickup requests must be submitted (i) at least one day in advance, or (ii) by 8:00 AM on the same day of service, unless different cutoffs are displayed in the Service. The most efficient way to schedule is by texting 415-993-9274. You may also include specific location instructions (e.g., "side gate," "back porch," or "front desk").
13.2 Special Pickup Instructions. If you want our driver to knock, ring your doorbell, or call you upon arrival, you must inform us at the time of scheduling and adjust applicable settings in your profile. If no such instructions are provided, we assume the pickup is unattended.
13.3 Unattended Pickup/Delivery Disclaimer. For unattended pickups or deliveries, Washmix is not liable for lost or stolen items after items are left at the designated location. In rare incidents, we may assist in providing documentation for authorities, but we do not guarantee recovery or reimbursement beyond the liability limits in Section 19.
13.4 Gated Communities & Restricted Access. If your residence is in a gated community, secured building, or restricted access location, you must provide accurate access instructions. Missed pickups or deliveries due to restricted access may incur additional fees, including re-attempt or route fees. Multiple failed delivery attempts may also result in surcharges.
13.5 Specialty Garments & Processing. Certain garments (including delicate fabrics, embellished items, or heavily stained items) may require additional time and care. If additional labor or delays are anticipated, we may notify you of delays or applicable surcharges before or during processing when feasible.
13.6 Delivery Confirmation and Short Issue-Reporting Window (2 Hours). Delivery notification via text message from either the automated line (415-993-9274) or a customer service/concierge line serves as confirmation that the Order has been delivered. Any concerns about delivery (e.g., claiming a delivery was not received at the designated location) must be reported within 2 hours of receiving the confirmation text. Failure to report within this timeframe will result in the Order being considered successfully delivered without dispute. In some cases, part of an Order may be delivered as a second shipment; you may receive separate notifications for each delivery.
13.7 No-Show / Bag Not Available. If you schedule a pickup and your bag/items are not available at the scheduled time, our driver may wait up to 5 minutes and attempt to contact you. If we are unable to retrieve your items, a No-Show Fee may apply (including, where applicable, $14.90–$19.90 or other amounts displayed in the Service). Repeated no-shows may result in additional restrictions or fees.
13.8 Rush Service. Rush service may be available for Laundry and Dry Cleaning, subject to availability and management approval. Rush service is not available for certain items and categories, including leather goods, rugs, wedding gowns, tailoring/alterations, and items requiring stain treatment or hand finishing. Rush fees may range from $9.99 to $99.99 (or other amounts displayed in the Service) depending on order size and urgency. Rush eligibility depends on daily processing volume and the time of request.
13.9 Extended Service Area / Route Surcharge. For addresses located more than 15 miles from Mountain View, CA 94041, a delivery fee of $19.90 may apply for Orders under $99. This fee may apply to all account types (PAYG, Gold, and Platinum) and may vary by route and operating conditions as displayed in the Service.
13.10 Public Holidays and Delays. Public holidays and peak periods may cause delays in processing and delivery. If you need an Order by a specific date, contact support before placing your Order. Rush service may be available depending on timing and availability, and additional surcharges may apply (including delivery). Washmix may be closed on major public holidays.
Delivery Fees Reference Table (Dynamic)
If minimum order thresholds are not met, delivery fees may apply as shown in the Service. The table below is provided as a reference representation of common delivery fee rules. Actual fees are governed by the amounts displayed in the Service at the time of scheduling/processing and may change when backend pricing changes.
| Tier | Small Load | Medium Load | Fee per Delivery |
|---|---|---|---|
| PAYG | $0–$49 | $50–$68 | $9.95/delivery ($19.90 round trip) / $4.95/delivery ($9.90 round trip) |
| Gold | $0–$39 | $40–$58 | $7.45/delivery ($14.90 round trip) / $4.95/delivery ($9.90 round trip) |
| Platinum | $0–$29 | $30–$48 | $7.45/delivery ($14.90 round trip) / $4.95/delivery ($9.90 round trip) |
Minimums and fees may vary by route and service area. See Section 13.9 for extended route surcharge rules.
14.1 Service Description. Recurring Pickup allows you to schedule ongoing pickups on a chosen frequency and day as displayed in the Service.
14.2 No-Show / Bag Not Available. If no items are available for pickup on a scheduled recurring pickup, a no-show fee may apply (including, where applicable, $9.99–$29.99 or other amounts displayed in the Service), depending on service area and route costs.
14.3 Skip/Pause Controls. You may cancel, skip, or modify recurring pickups through your dashboard subject to timing rules displayed in the Service (including typical 24-hour advance rules or within 1 hour of scheduling where shown).
15.1 Overview. Seasonal Garment Storage includes pickup, inspection, cataloging, storage, and retrieval upon request. All garments are cleaned and refreshed before return delivery; applicable cleaning charges are billed at intake, on the storage invoice.
15.2 Storage Duration. Storage is charged per season. One (1) season equals up to three (3) months. The standard storage term is two (2) seasons (up to six months total), and storage may be extended one season at a time up to an absolute maximum of four (4) seasons (up to twelve months total). If pickup occurs mid-season, that partial season counts as one full season (no proration).
15.3 Storage Bundles. Items are grouped into storage bundles. Each bundle may contain up to twenty-five (25) garments. Bundles are stored and returned together. Partial retrieval is not available. If you anticipate needing certain items earlier, we recommend creating separate bundles at the time of pickup.
15.4 Pricing.
15.4.1 Bundle Pricing (flat per-bundle seasonal fee, up to 25 garments per bundle): PAYG: $49 (1 season) / $79 (2 seasons). Gold (10% off): $44 (1 season) / $71 (2 seasons). Platinum (20% off): $39 (1 season) / $63 (2 seasons). The two-season price is a fixed discounted bundle rate, not a multiple of the one-season fee. Storage is charged per bundle regardless of the number of garments stored (up to the 25-garment limit); there is no per-item storage charge and no minimum garment count.
15.4.2 Season Extensions (beyond two seasons): Additional seasons are charged at a flat rate with no membership discounts: third (3rd) season $149; fourth (4th and final) season $249. The higher fourth-season rate reflects the added burden of long-term storage. No bundle may be stored beyond four (4) seasons.
15.4.3 Cleaning Charges. Cleaning and pressing is mandatory before return delivery and is never included in the storage fee (including the Platinum benefit in 15.5). Cleaning is charged separately, per garment, at your tier rate, on the storage invoice at intake.
15.5 Platinum Storage Benefit. Platinum members receive one (1) storage bundle (up to twenty-five (25) garments) stored free for one (1) season (storage fee waived), regardless of the number of garments in that bundle. The 20% discount applies to storage and cleaning. The 10% credit-back benefit applies to all eligible charges. Cleaning and pressing before return is mandatory and charged separately, per garment, and is not included in the free benefit. Eligibility requires that the account remains actively enrolled in the Platinum tier during the storage period. Benefits may be promotional and may be modified or removed for future periods.
15.6 Cleaning/Processing Before Storage. Items may be stored as received. However, if an item has stains, moisture, odor, or any condition that may cause damage during storage, cleaning may be required before storage. Any required cleaning will be billed to your account at applicable rates.
15.7 Retrieval Requests Are Final. Once a retrieval request is submitted, it cannot be canceled. Storage ends immediately and your items will be prepared for return delivery. Partial retrieval is not available — bundles must be retrieved in full.
15.8 Season Extensions. Beyond the standard two (2) season term, storage may be extended one season at a time, up to an absolute maximum of four (4) seasons (twelve months total). Extension seasons are charged at the flat rates in Section 15.4.2 (third season $149; fourth and final season $249), with no membership discounts. An extension may be applied either because the customer requests additional time or because the customer has not retrieved the bundle and has not responded to communications. After the fourth (4th) season, the bundle is returned automatically and storage is permanently terminated; no further extension is available.
15.9 Unclaimed Items; Contactability. You must keep contact information up to date. If items are not retrieved by the end of the storage term (including any extension seasons), we will attempt to contact you via SMS and email. If we are unable to reach you after a fifteen (15) day notice period, items may be donated, sold, or auctioned to recover costs at Washmix's discretion, as permitted by law. You waive any claim against Washmix arising from such disposition, and any proceeds may be applied first to outstanding storage, cleaning, and administrative charges.
15.10 Storage Seasons and Return-Date Anchoring. Storage seasons follow a fixed calendar: Winter (Dec 1 – Mar 1), Spring (Mar 1 – Jun 1), Summer (Jun 1 – Sep 1), and Fall (Sep 1 – Dec 1). Your storage term and return date are anchored to these fixed season-end dates, not to your pickup date. Storage fees are not prorated: if items are accepted partway through a season, the full seasonal fee applies and the return date remains anchored to the applicable season end. By using the Service you acknowledge and accept that a late-season intake does not reduce the seasonal fee or extend the return date.
15.11 Early Intake. If items are picked up before a storage season officially begins, the pre-season holding period may incur an additional early storage fee as disclosed in the Service. The return date remains anchored to the fixed season-end date described in Section 15.10.
15.12 Bundle Size; Overage. Each bundle holds up to twenty-five (25) garments. If the number of garments accepted exceeds twenty-five (25), one or more additional bundles will be created, each subject to its own seasonal fee. Bundle counts and item counts are determined by Washmix at inspection and are final absent manifest error.
15.13 Estimates; Final Invoice. Any price shown at scheduling is an estimate only. The final invoice is determined after Washmix physically inspects, counts, and itemizes the contents of each bundle, and may differ from the estimate based on actual garment count, bundle count, required cleaning, specialty handling, and any applicable early-intake or extension fees. You authorize Washmix to charge the final invoice to your account or payment method on file.
15.14 Accepted Items. Storage is intended for wearable garments and related items, including coats, outerwear, seasonal clothing, and (where accepted) leather, suede, fur, and wedding gowns. Specialty items may be subject to additional handling fees and the limitations in Section 16.
15.15 Declined or Restricted Items. Washmix may, in its sole discretion, decline to accept or store any item, including but not limited to: non-garment or household goods, rugs, bedding not designated for storage, oversized items, items that are wet, soiled, infested, contaminated, or malodorous, items containing hazardous or perishable materials, and items of unusually high or sentimental value (e.g., heirlooms, designer pieces, or items exceeding the liability limits below). Prohibited items left in pockets or bundles (cash, jewelry, electronics, documents, medication, or valuables) are stored at your sole risk, and Washmix accepts no liability for such items.
15.16 Early Retrieval. You may request full-bundle retrieval before the end of your term at no additional charge; however, seasonal storage fees already incurred are non-refundable and partial-season fees are not prorated or credited. Retrieval is always of the entire bundle (see Section 15.7).
15.17 Condition; Inherent Risks; Pre-Existing Wear. Items are stored in a controlled, labeled, and itemized environment; however, certain natural changes can occur over time and are outside Washmix's control. These include, without limitation, gradual fading, oxidation, fabric aging, creasing, minor color migration, latent manufacturing defects, and the worsening of pre-existing wear, stains, or weaknesses. Washmix is not responsible for such conditions, for damage resulting from the inherent nature or fragility of a material, or for defects not reasonably detectable at intake. Condition noted at inspection is recorded for reference only and is not a warranty of future condition.
15.18 Inventory; Discrepancies. Washmix's intake inventory and item count are presumed accurate. Any claim of a missing item or discrepancy must be reported in writing within seven (7) days of return delivery; claims made after this window are waived. You are responsible for confirming the contents of each bundle at pickup and at return.
15.19 Limitation of Liability for Stored Items. Washmix's maximum aggregate liability for loss of or damage to any item or bundle while in storage is limited to the lesser of (a) ten (10) times the storage fee paid for the affected bundle, or (b) the documented fair-market (depreciated) value of the affected item(s), not to exceed $250 per bundle. Washmix is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, nor for sentimental or irreplaceable value. This Section survives termination and applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
15.20 Insurance. Washmix does not provide insurance for stored items beyond the limited liability in Section 15.19.
15.21 Force Majeure. Washmix is not liable for loss of or damage to stored items resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including fire, flood, water intrusion, mold, pests, power failure, equipment malfunction, theft, vandalism, acts of God, governmental action, or labor disruption, provided Washmix exercised commercially reasonable care.
15.22 Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Washmix and its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense arising from items you submit for storage, including claims that an item was prohibited, misrepresented, hazardous, or owned by a third party, or that storage caused damage to other items, persons, or property.
16.1 Rug Cleaning. Rugs should be pre-rolled unless rolling assistance is requested. Rolling assistance may incur an additional service fee (e.g., $99 per rug) as shown in the Service. Washmix may document measurements and condition. Existing wear or damage may become more visible after cleaning.
16.2 Leather Care. Leather, suede, and specialty materials carry inherent risks due to dyes, finishes, and wear. Results vary.
16.3 Alterations and Repairs. Provide clear written instructions (e.g., "Hem by 2 inches, original cut"). Some alterations may require additional time. If your preferences permit, minor repairs (tears, loose hems) may be performed when noticed and charged to your account; you can manage this via preferences in your dashboard.
17.1 General Rule. Prepaid Wallet credits are non-refundable and have no cash value, except as described in Section 17.2. Prepaid Wallet credits can be transferred to another Washmix customer only through a support-assisted written request to Washmix support, as described in Section 17.4.
17.2 48-Hour Refund of an EasyPay Load. If you request it within 48 hours after an EasyPay load is charged, Washmix will refund the unused balance of that load, even if part of the load has already been used. Your account will then move to Pay-As-You-Go. After 48 hours, EasyPay loads are not refundable. Bonus credits, promotional credits, and credit-back rewards are never refunded.
17.3 Discount Re-Rating / Reconciliation (When Applicable). If any services were billed at an EasyPay-discounted rate and a refund is otherwise permitted, Washmix may reconcile by re-rating those services at the standard PAYG rate and deducting the discount difference from the refundable amount, to the extent permitted by law.
17.4 Credit Transfer. You may transfer prepaid Wallet credits to another person, such as a friend, family member, or colleague, by sending a written request to Washmix support. The recipient must be a Washmix customer. Transfers are processed after verification.
18.1 Inactivity Management. Washmix may suspend or terminate accounts for prolonged inactivity or operational reasons, consistent with these Terms and applicable law. You remain responsible for monitoring balances and contacting Washmix regarding any rollover, renewal, or retrieval options where offered.
18.2 Credits, Expiration, and Inactivity. Where the Service states EasyPay credits "never expire," such credits do not expire while your Account remains active and in good standing. However, Washmix may close inactive accounts after prolonged inactivity or for operational reasons, consistent with applicable law and these Terms.
18.3 Service Termination / Account Closure With Remaining Credit. If Washmix terminates the Service or closes an account in circumstances where unused Wallet credit remains, Washmix may refund available unused credit via check to the name and address on file, after adjusting for discounts previously applied on the most recent EasyPay purchase/reload, to the extent permitted by law and consistent with these Terms.
19.1 Pre-Existing Damage, Wear, and Garment Condition. Garments and other items may have pre-existing wear, weakened or deteriorated fibers, fading, discoloration, shrinkage potential, loose or missing buttons, damaged zippers, broken or weakened seams, manufacturer defects, improper or missing care labels, adhesives or fusible interfacings, embellishments, beading, sequins, trim, leather or faux-leather components, previous alterations or repairs, prior cleaning by another provider, or other conditions that may become apparent or worsen during ordinary cleaning, laundering, pressing, handling, or transportation.
Customers are responsible for inspecting items before submitting them to Washmix and for notifying Washmix of unusual, delicate, valuable, or pre-existing conditions that may affect processing.
Washmix relies on the care instructions affixed to each garment by its manufacturer. Where a care label is missing, illegible, incorrect, or inconsistent with the garment's actual construction, Washmix will apply its professional judgment, and Washmix is not responsible for outcomes resulting from that reliance or judgment.
Washmix does not guarantee the removal of any stain, odor, or discoloration, and does not guarantee the outcome of stain treatment, restoration, alteration, or repair services. Attempting stain removal within accepted professional practice may reveal or worsen pre-existing weakness in a fabric or dye.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Washmix is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, ordinary wear and tear, inherent material characteristics, manufacturer defects, inaccurate or missing care instructions, normal or acceptable shrinkage, color loss or migration inherent to the fabric or dye, or conditions not caused by Washmix.
19.2 Personal Property and Items Left in Pockets or Bags. Customers are responsible for removing all personal property from garments, pockets, laundry bags, containers, and other items before service.
Washmix is not responsible for money, jewelry, keys, identification documents, credit or debit cards, electronics, medications, confidential materials, or other personal property left inside garments, pockets, bags, or containers, and is not responsible for damage such property causes to the customer's own items, to other customers' items, or to Washmix equipment.
Customers should not submit irreplaceable, unusually valuable, sentimental, collectible, or otherwise extraordinary property through the Service unless Washmix has expressly agreed in writing to accept such property. A customer seeking that written acceptance must contact cs@washmix.com before the order is collected and identify the item and its claimed value. Absent Washmix's written agreement, such property is submitted at the customer's sole risk and remains subject to the limitations in Section 19.12.
19.3 Customer Responsibility Before Pickup. Unless Washmix has physically collected an order, all garments, laundry, bags, containers, and other property remain in the customer's possession and under the customer's responsibility.
A scheduled pickup, pickup confirmation, driver assignment, estimated arrival time, text message, email, application notification, recurring pickup, or other communication regarding an anticipated pickup does not constitute Washmix's receipt, possession, custody, or control of an order.
Washmix assumes responsibility for an order only when the order has been physically collected by a Washmix driver or other authorized Washmix representative.
19.4 Unattended Pickups. Washmix may permit customers to leave orders at customer-designated locations for unattended or contactless pickup, including, without limitation, a doorstep, porch, lobby, reception area, front desk, concierge desk, mailroom, package room, garage, gate, side entrance, backyard, vehicle, workplace, commercial property, or other location designated or authorized by the customer.
The convenience of unattended pickup does not constitute a representation, warranty, or guarantee by Washmix that any designated location is secure or that items left there will be protected from theft, loss, damage, weather, animals, building personnel, residents, visitors, delivery personnel, or other third parties.
Items left unattended remain at the customer's risk until physically collected by Washmix. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Washmix is not responsible for theft, disappearance, loss, substitution, removal, tampering, contamination, or damage occurring before Washmix physically collects the order, including where the customer has received confirmation that a pickup has been scheduled or a driver is expected.
Customers are responsible for selecting a reasonably safe and appropriate pickup location and for ensuring that the order remains available and secure until collection.
19.5 Third-Party and Building Locations. If a customer directs or authorizes Washmix to pick up from or deliver to a third party or shared location—including a doorman, concierge, receptionist, front desk, hotel, office, apartment building, mailroom, package room, locker area, property manager, household member, employee, coworker, or other person or location—Washmix is not responsible for acts, omissions, mistakes, theft, loss, misplacement, unauthorized access, or other conduct occurring outside Washmix's custody or control.
Delivery to, or collection from, such a third party or designated location constitutes delivery to or collection from the customer for purposes of these Terms. Transfer of an order between the customer and such third party before Washmix collection remains at the customer's risk.
19.6 Custody During Service. Washmix's responsibility for an order begins when the order is physically collected by Washmix or its authorized representative and continues while the order remains in Washmix's custody, subject to all limitations, exclusions, claim requirements, and liability caps contained in these Terms.
Where Washmix records an item count at intake, that count is presumed accurate. For services processed by bag, bundle, or volume rather than by individual item, Washmix does not warrant that an individual item count is recorded for each order. Customers are responsible for confirming the contents of each order at the time of submission and upon delivery.
The fact that an item cannot be located does not by itself establish that the item was received by Washmix or lost while in Washmix's custody. Washmix may review available order records, route information, photographs, communications, facility records, processing information, and other reasonably available evidence when investigating a claim.
Compensation for a missing or damaged item is available only where Washmix, acting reasonably and in good faith on the basis of reasonably available information, determines that the item was received into Washmix's custody and that the loss or damage resulted from Washmix's error, subject to applicable law and the limitations contained in these Terms. A customer who disagrees with a claim determination may request further review by contacting cs@washmix.com within fourteen (14) days of that determination. Nothing in this Section limits any right a customer may have under applicable law.
19.7 Unattended Deliveries and End of Custody. Where a customer requests, authorizes, selects, or otherwise permits unattended delivery, Washmix may leave the completed order at the customer's designated delivery location.
Washmix's custody and responsibility for the order ends upon delivery to the customer, an authorized recipient, or the customer-designated delivery location. Once an order has been delivered to the designated location, the order is at the customer's risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Washmix is not responsible for theft, disappearance, loss, damage, tampering, weather exposure, unauthorized access, or actions of third parties occurring after delivery.
Customers are responsible for selecting a reasonably safe delivery location and retrieving delivered orders promptly. Washmix is not responsible for damage resulting from a delivered order remaining at the delivery location for an extended period, including exposure to weather, heat, moisture, or mildew.
19.8 Customer Pickup and Delivery Instructions. Washmix may rely on pickup and delivery instructions, addresses, access information, gate or building codes, designated locations, and other directions supplied through the customer's account, order, text message, communication with Washmix, or other authorized means, and may treat any such instruction received from the customer's account or registered phone number as authorized by the customer.
The customer is responsible for keeping such instructions accurate, current, accessible, and reasonably safe.
Washmix is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from inaccurate addresses, incorrect or outdated instructions, inaccessible locations, building restrictions, customer-selected locations, or other circumstances outside Washmix's reasonable control.
19.9 Proof of Pickup and Delivery. Washmix may use photographs, timestamps, GPS or route information, driver records, text messages, electronic records, customer communications, building records, or other reasonably available information to document or investigate pickup and delivery.
Such records may be considered when determining whether and when an order entered or left Washmix's custody. Washmix retains such records only for the period reflected in its ordinary business practices and is under no obligation to produce records beyond those reasonably available at the time a claim is investigated.
19.10 Claims Procedure. For damage or missing-item claims involving an order that was collected by Washmix, customers must contact cs@washmix.com within the applicable dispute period and provide all reasonably requested information, including a description of the item, photographs where available, order information, proof of purchase or value where requested, and other details reasonably necessary to investigate the claim.
The applicable dispute periods are: (a) two (2) hours from delivery confirmation to report that an order was not received at the designated location (Section 13.6); (b) forty-eight (48) hours from delivery confirmation to report a damaged, missing, or incorrect item (Sections 12.1 and 19.11); (c) seven (7) days from return delivery for items in Seasonal Garment Storage (Section 15.18); and (d) thirty (30) calendar days from the service date for billing and credit discrepancies (Section 12.2).
Prompt reporting within the applicable period is a condition of Washmix's claims process and enables Washmix to investigate while records and inventory remain available. Claims submitted after the applicable period may not be eligible for compensation under this Section, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise. Nothing in this Section waives any right that cannot lawfully be waived or shortens any period that cannot lawfully be shortened.
Washmix may request that the affected item be made available for inspection, and may decline a claim where the item is not made available within a reasonable time after that request. Customers agree to reasonably cooperate with Washmix's investigation. Submitting a claim does not constitute an admission of liability by Washmix.
19.11 Missing Item Search Process. If a customer believes an item is missing from an order that was collected by Washmix, the customer must contact cs@washmix.com with a detailed description within 48 hours of delivery confirmation.
Washmix may initiate a search process that includes:
Stage 1 — Day 1: Intake of the report and review of the applicable order.
Stage 2 — Days 1–7: Internal search and processing review.
Stage 3 — Days 7–14: Expanded review, which may include inventory, route, facility, processing, and other available records.
The search may continue for several weeks depending on order volume, seasonality, circumstances, and the nature of the item. Washmix may pause or close a search where the customer does not provide requested information within a reasonable time.
If Washmix determines that an item was lost due to Washmix error while in Washmix's custody, any compensation is subject to Section 19.12 and all other applicable provisions of these Terms.
19.12 Liability Limitation (Important). To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Washmix's total liability for loss of or damage to any item or items for which Washmix is legally responsible is limited to the least of:
(a) five (5) times the amount charged to process the affected item or items, calculated after discounts;
(b) the documented depreciated fair market value of the affected item or items at the time of the loss or damage; or
(c) $100 in the aggregate.
The $100 figure in clause (c) is a maximum, not a per-item allowance. It is the total amount payable for any single order or occurrence, regardless of the number of items affected. By way of illustration: where $50 was charged to process an affected item, five times that amount is $250; because that exceeds the $100 maximum, Washmix's total liability is $100.
Where an item is processed as part of a per-bag, per-bundle, package, or subscription service rather than at an individual item price, the amount charged to process the affected item is the total amount charged for that bag, bundle, package, or cycle. Washmix does not allocate that amount among individual items.
Liability for items in Seasonal Garment Storage is governed instead by Section 15.19.
These limitations apply regardless of the item's original purchase price, replacement cost, current retail price, sentimental value, collectible value, or claimed special value, except where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.
Subject to the following sentence, these limitations apply to all claims of every kind, whether based in contract, warranty, negligence, strict liability, bailment, statute, or any other legal or equitable theory. These limitations do not apply to, and Washmix does not seek to limit liability for, fraud, willful injury to the person or property of another, gross negligence, or violation of law, in each case to the extent such a limitation would be unenforceable under applicable law.
Washmix does not provide insurance for garments or other property submitted for service.
19.13 Third-Party Theft and Criminal Acts. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Washmix is not responsible for theft, burglary, vandalism, unauthorized removal, or other acts of third parties occurring before an order enters Washmix's physical custody or after an order has been delivered in accordance with the customer's instructions.
Where theft or another criminal act is suspected, customers should preserve available photographs or security footage and contact the appropriate property management, security personnel, law-enforcement agency, or insurer as appropriate.
Washmix may reasonably cooperate with an investigation when relevant records are available, but such cooperation does not constitute an admission of responsibility or liability.
19.14 Events Outside Washmix's Reasonable Control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Washmix is not responsible for loss, damage, delay, or inability to perform resulting from circumstances outside Washmix's reasonable control, including theft or acts of third parties, severe weather, natural disasters, fires, floods, water intrusion, pests, epidemics or public-health orders, building access restrictions, governmental actions, road closures, accidents, labor disruptions, equipment or facility failures not resulting from Washmix's failure to exercise reasonable care, or utility or telecommunications failures.
19.15 No Warranties; "As Is". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and site content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, workmanlike performance, or non-infringement, except for warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
19.16 Items Forming Part of a Set, Pair, or Ensemble. Where an item that is lost or damaged forms part of a suit, set, pair, uniform, or ensemble, Washmix's liability is limited to the affected item alone and does not extend to the remaining pieces, to the diminished value of the set, or to the cost of replacing the set as a whole, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
19.17 Exclusion of Certain Damages. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Washmix is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost time, loss of use, inconvenience, replacement shopping costs, event or travel expenses, or sentimental or irreplaceable value, arising out of or relating to any loss of or damage to an item, whether or not Washmix was advised of the possibility of such damages.
19.18 Claim Resolution, Payment, and Release. Where Washmix approves a claim, Washmix may satisfy it, at its election and with the customer's agreement where required by law, by issuing Washmix Wallet credit, by refunding the amount charged to process the affected item, by arranging repair or restoration, or by payment to the original payment method, in each case subject to the limits in Section 19.12.
Where Washmix issues a payment or credit that it identifies to the customer as settlement of a specific claim, acceptance of that payment or credit constitutes full and final settlement of that claim and of all claims arising from the same item and occurrence. A routine service credit not identified as a claim settlement does not release a claim. Only one claim may be made per item per occurrence, and no customer may recover more than once for the same loss. Washmix may take possession of a damaged item upon payment of a claim.
19.19 Customer Insurance. Washmix does not insure garments or other property submitted for service. Customers who wish to protect items beyond the limits stated in Section 19.12 should maintain their own homeowner's, renter's, or personal-property insurance, or should refrain from submitting such items through the Service.
19.20 Application, Severability, and Survival. The limitations, exclusions, and claim requirements in this Section apply to Washmix and to its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, drivers, contractors, and service partners, and apply to all services offered by Washmix, including pickup, delivery, cleaning, laundering, pressing, alterations, specialty services, and storage, except where a different limit is expressly stated for a particular service.
Nothing in this Section limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, willful injury to the person or property of another, gross negligence, or violation of law, or any right a consumer holds under applicable law that cannot be waived. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, and in those jurisdictions Washmix's liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. If any provision of this Section is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
This Section survives the termination or expiration of these Terms and the closure of a customer's account.
19.21 Discretionary Accommodations. Washmix may, in its sole discretion and as a courtesy, provide credit, a refund, or another accommodation exceeding the amounts required by this Section. Any such accommodation is voluntary, is made without admission of liability, is limited to the specific circumstance, and does not modify these Terms, establish a course of dealing or practice, or create any entitlement to the same or similar accommodation in any other instance.
20.1 Valid Payment Method Required. You must keep valid billing information on file.
20.2 Declines. If a charge fails, Washmix may notify you and may hold Orders until outstanding balances are paid.
20.3 Multiple Transactions. Washmix may process one or more transactions to cover Order totals, negative balances, Wallet replenishment, subscription charges, and/or applicable fees as required by your settings and these Terms.
20.4 Third-Party Payment Processing. Washmix may use third-party payment processors; payment processing is also subject to your card issuer's terms. Washmix is not responsible for errors by third-party payment processors.
21.1 Service Messages. You may receive service-related communications via SMS and/or email. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to promotional texts is not a condition of purchase.
21.2 Customer Support. For support, email cs@washmix.com and include Name + Address + Inquiry for quicker assistance.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Washmix and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or violation of any rights of a third party.
27.1 Informal Resolution First. For disputes, you agree to contact Washmix first and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
27.2 Binding Individual Arbitration. If not resolved, you and Washmix agree to resolve Claims through binding individual arbitration, not in court, except where prohibited by law.
27.3 Waiver.
ALL CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE PARTIES' INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. YOU WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
27.4 Provider, Rules, and Location. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis by a neutral arbitrator under the rules of an arbitration provider selected by Washmix, unless you and Washmix agree otherwise or applicable law requires a different procedure. The arbitrator may award the same damages and relief that a court could award to an individual, subject to the limitations in these Terms. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any class, collective, or representative proceeding.
27.5 Exceptions. Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for claims relating to intellectual property or unauthorized access to the Service, or as otherwise required by law.
27.6 Time Limit. Any claim must be brought within the time limits allowed by applicable law.
